Slide out issues

We have a 2017 Fleetwood Storm 36d that we bought a few months ago and have taken out 6-8 times camping since then. It has two slide outs: a smaller bedroom closet/bunkbed slide that is a Schwintek type slide. The second one is the larger living/dining room slide that is a Rack & Pinion type driven by electric motor. Two issues with this slide. First is when you put it out, after going out about 4-6 inches it stops and you have to release and push the “out” button again and then it will go out all the way. This happens 90+% of the time but not 100%. When you bring in the slide there is no stopping, just comes in. What might be causing this?
Second issue is that when the slide is going out what it does is begin to tip down quite noticeably even seeming to speed up until it is half way out and then it begins to gradually right itself by coming back up to a level position before it “locks” into its full open position. The reverse happens when you bring it in. I have looked as carefully as I can at the “tightness” of everything that I can see and feel from the inside on both ends when the slide is in and from the outside by removing the plate that allows access to the motor, pinion gear and to that side of the rack. Nothing seems loose. Not able to see everything as the bottom is “hidden” by a solid outside cover. Not sure how to access the ability to view the entire rack and pinion area. So, this “tilting down and then pulling back up” business seems odd to me. We had a 34 ft 2000 Fleetwood Storm with rack and pinion slides and they just went straight and level out and then came straight and level back in. So, after 17 years of slide out improvements, is this tilting down then up a common way for a slide out to act? Any advice appreciated! Scott

PS, I have videos of the slide going in and out that show the behavior but don't see that I can put a link to those in this post.

Our 2016 slide large slide out does something similar... it angles down when going out then levels out. I think this is normal so that the slide out and RV floor end up at the same level.

Yes, the angle is fine. It's to rollers rolling across the interior floor then when it rolls down the ramp it levels itself. Not to worry.

Our 2007 Fleetwood Pacearrow does the same thing, tilts down going out and then levels itself out.
