Slide Topper Awnings

I highly suggest that everyone get on the roof and look over the threads for your slide awnings. I had to replace the bedroom awning do to 3/4 of the stitches was rotted away. I also know of another rig that had to replace the full slide awning it was the same year as ours a 2017. I did get the replacement from Carefree and i was a heavier material and the edges were sewen, unlike the original material. While you're on the roof spray the stitches with 303 UV protectant.

Agree. The PO of my rig did not know the awnings were rotten in the middle because they looked ok on both ends. It allowed lots of debris to build up and destroyed all 4 slide seals.
