Slide will go not retract

I have a Fleewood Excursion 39V motorhome. The full side slide will not retract. It’s stuck in my side yard next to the house, to wide to pull out in the driveway where we can get to it. Is there a way to retract it manually?

Yes, there should be. Check your owners manual ..... they usually provide the details on the process.

Re-level the motorhome and try retracting the slide. I've had my slide out for awhile and it wouldn't go back in because that side sank a bit lower than level. Re-Leveling allowed it to come in.

What slide mechanism do you have? And exactly does it not do?

Does is make any noise when trying to retract?

If not, I'd try the switch - easy to get at... make sure the wires are labelled, take a photo, reverse the wires and see if it will retract.

The Slide stops may be reset usually caused by low power when operating. Depending on the slide system you have you should be able to rest the slide stops. If you have a Power Gear system pull the control unit, where the IN and OUT buttons are located and there is a procedure to reset the stops.

We had the same problem on our 2021 Bounder and its was the stops that got reset. Pretty easy way to reset the stops and now all is good. Not sure what your system is but that is what your description sounds just like our issue.

Try starting engine, hold aux start button while someone else tries to bring in. The full wall slide has 4 motors so bringing it in manually would be tough and screw everything up. It needs good batteries to bring in.
Post if it still doesn’t come in or does come in.
Do not hit reset buttons on control panel unless you really know what you at doing.

Slide won’t retract

Thanks for all your input.
My mobile RV mechanic found, two of the three motors gears had teeth broken off. Waiting for information on getting 3 new gears.

Best insurance I ever bought. Expensive, but after getting stuck multiple times it's priceless!

Full wall slides with multiple motor are in sync so they all go the same distance. If one or more motors get out of sync the slide will get jack up. The teach pendant is a control box that operates the slide each motor independent if needed. It is really a must in my opinion if you have stripped gears or change out a motor.
