Slideout rubber seal question

Hi

My question is simple. When a slideout is extended, should the rubber D seal be compressed evenly all the way around.
I would assume so, but when my slide outs extent the top of te slideout will stop first when the seal touches, and then the bottom continues until the motor stops. This means that the seal is compressed much more at the bottom than the top.

Thanks

David

In a perfect world, on perfectly level ground, with the jacks perfectly deployed, and a perfectly aligned slide room, I would think the seal should be perfectly even all the way around.

In the real world, I would think a seal is a seal, and unless its REALLY out of whack, I wouldn't worry about it. My slides, like yours, meet at the top first, then at the bottom till they stop.
