I have a 2009 American Allegiance 42. I've been looking for the smartwheel control module for 3 days and cannot find it. I've traced the wires to the bottom firewall but then they disappear into the frame area. Anyone have any idea where it may be? I assume any smartwheel has to have the control module to work.
Trying to reset it as my cruise and wipers don't work. Or replace it.

Mine was under the dashboard to the left of the steering column close to the fuse module. Not easy to get to. Had to replace mine. Gulfstream Crescendo. Hope this helps. Merry Christmas.
My 08 Tradition is under the steps. Likely a plug has come loose. Once you find the controller, pull and reseat the plugs. You will likely have wipers and cruise control again.
On my 2003 Revolution the smart wheel controller is in the left front bin. I also have a bunch of fuses in there also.
I had a problem with the wiper controller. I was able to troubleshoot from there.
