You would have to identify how much, if any draw you have at "idle" of if you completely shut off the batteries.
For example, my toy hauler, in "idle" mode draws about 3 amps. Any charger I have would have to exceed the average over a 24 hour period.
If your batteries are fully shut off, they should not be losing any charge. When I store mine for the winter I disconnect the battery and 4-6 month later they are still fully charged.
"Tradition" 120v plug in maintainers are 2 amp and monitor/run constantly.
Solar only works when the sun is out and the highest number they are rated at peak performance. 100 watts of solar is about 5 amps at peak.
They are not good or bad. You need to understand how they work to understand if they will meet your need or not.
