Its me again,

In multiple pieces of Fleetwood literature, the cooling system frequently is a "Dual Roof-Mounted A/C High Efficiency w/Solar Panel & Chill Grille on Front A/C. Now, I've not seen it before so, I decided to put it to you Fleetwood folks.

I have searched high and low and you can imagine my joy in discovering there is a fridge and BBQ grille in the A/C.

Can someone tell me:

1. What are the "Solar" and "Chill Grille" features and what are they supposed to do?

2. Do they work?

3. Is there any real benefit (assuming they work)?

Thanks

SSteve

They both do work. there is a small solar panel on top of the front Air Conditioner that puts a very small charge to the batterys. The Chill grills give the ability to open the Air outlets on each Air conditioner for full flow in order to more rapidly cool the coach. When it is extra warm. It puts all the cold air out the grills instead of the feeding the smaller outlets once the coach has cooled they the grills should be closed, I hope I have provided an ansewer to your question.

We have the solar panel on our 07 38P Pace Arrow. The red light use to stay lit all the time during the day. Now it doesn't lite at all. I was told by a factory tech that the light only comes on when the batteries are taking a charge. Does anyone have any real information on this?
