southwind 20th anniversary model???

Considering a 1994 DP Southwind 20th anniversary model. Was there anything special about that model that sets it apart from their other 1994 models. Length claimed to be 37 but in searching 1994 Southwinds I don't find any reference to 37 footer. I understand it is on an Oshkosh chassis and they had 5.9 diesel pushers tied to a 6sp Allison tx. Thanks

I seem to remember somebody on this forum posting that had one so I did a little searching around and found this member (click here) who hasn't posted in awhile who has a 1994 37' Fleetwood Southwind 20th Anniversary bought last summer (click here).

You might try to Private Message him to see if he can answer your questions as hopefully he has e-mail notification of any PMs received.

Otherwise, you might try to post your inquiry in the iRV2 Fleetwood forum to see if anybody there can answer your questions (click here).

You may find the unit should actually be listed as a 32 ft. Our 20th Anniversary Edition is a 32ft but actually measures 37ft. I can't provide any info for you on the chassis or engine but can tell you most everything in the house is easy to service when needed.

Enjoy!

Be very careful of Fleetwood coaches when inspecting for delam and water damage. If you find one that's good there, it's likely been stored indoors and/or has been very well cared for. If that's the case they're great coaches. Unfortunately, they're the exception.

Looked at a 1994 southwind yesterday. Present owner said previous owner kept it under cover and it showed very well. Understand about the leaks. This was very well cared for but the cummins 230/allison 6 sp. really shifted with a jerkey action 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 so we passed on it.
