Southwind backup Camera

Hi all! I have a 2002 Southwind 32V and the rear view camera/monitor is on it's last leg. I have the one mounted in the dash. I was wondering if anyone has replaced theirs with a newer version and had any pics of their install? I was looking at some wireless ones but not sure how well they work. I'd like a factory look when I'm done and don't want to spend a ton of money on it. I like being able to see the Jeep as I'm towing it. Thanks in advance for any advice and especially pictures.

I replaced my 2001 back-up system with this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I added 2 side cameras as well as another rearview camera (one looking down and one looking back).

The system goes to each of the side cameras when the respective turn signals are triggered as well as the back-up camera (looking down) when you put the coach in reverse.

You have the option to look at any one, 2, 4 or all 4 when going down the road.

the whole system is about $400 for the parts and I paid a local stereo shop about $250 to do the install.....not that complicated just didn't have the time!

I have so much better awareness of what's around/behind me now I only wish I would have done this sooner!!

I replaced the camera on my Southwind right after i got it 3 years ago. While I was doing this, I also installed a rear LED work light.

I did short article with photos:

Rear camera replacement and rear LED work-light – 1999 Southwind 35S

Several years ago, I installed a wireless on my ole Mirada, I ran it for one year, then removed the wireless transmitter / receiver and ran a video cable. The camera was interfering with my TPMS. :-(

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.
