Southwind entry door lock issue

The lock assembly on the entry door sometimes moves and will not unlock. I then have to enter from the drivers side door and manually open the door. I then line up the whole lock assembly manually from outside and the able to lock the door again. This happens a lot. I have screwed the screws in tight on the lock assembly and even replaced the star screws nothing works.

when the issue occurs, the door will not open. there are two locks a dead bolt and the regular lock. So what happens is that the whole lock assembly shifts to the dead bolt is wedged in and wont unlock with the key. So when I enter from the driver side I have the manually move the whole assembly with the open lever in side. Once the assembly lines up and clears the dead bolt I can then open it again.

I would take the lock apart. Use 3M grey tape and tape around the edge of the outside lock half. The 3M tape will hold the lock and not allow it to shift out of position.

I finally got around to taking the door lock off. Instead of 3M I used E6000. So far the door lock has not moved. the true test will be once we are on the road. Thanks for all your help!
