Speed warning on GPS

I have a 2015 Discovery with the touchscreen radio/gps and the speed warning is annoying. Is there a way to turn off the warning? And don't bother telling me I shouldn't drive that fast. I asked about the annoying warning not driving tips.

Not sure which unit you have so can't give specifics in the setup/config screens. But on mine I set it for 10mph over. I like it as a reminder - on some downgrades it can be easy to get rolling faster than you think.

I found it, under RV Tools...Warnings...
There are multiple settings that can be changed. I'm happy again.

I turn the bothersome alerts off. All of them.

You may need to be in park with the emergency brake on to change settings like that.

15 Discovery 40E

I agree the speed warnings are annoying. But we drive a fair amount in small towns, guess how they make a lot of money? Set it to 10 over posted limits.

We also drive old highways. Americana is great to see!
A 10mph alarm is too high and too late for attentive cops with radar. You must be down to the posted limit before you pass the sign. And GPS is very often behind on speed limit changes.
I prefer to trust me! Has worked flawlessly for over 50 years.

Mine sets in the co-pilot seat, and is set about 5 mph over her comfort point.
