Splendide in our 08 Bounder 38P

Question, our machine we just bought had the factory w/d option (splendide) machine, so I was running it today and thought it was sure humid in the area, so I checked and the vent is not connected to anything...just vented and hanging towards the floor. I can't believe that is considered acceptable? any thoughts on whether there may be a factory vent that I just don't know about??

Mine is vented through the side of the coach. You may have to cut a hole in the wall and get a vent cover for proper venting.

That's not right. Do you have a vent on the outside in that area ?
Something like this.

It is a little time consuming but a relatively easy job. The vent kit can be ordered from your favorite RV dealer, Camping World or the like. The Splendide manual has installation instructions. You will have to remove the washer to gain access to the interior of the side wall. When locating the hole for the vent use a stud finder to make sure that you avoid any interior wall structure. Good luck!

What that means is that the coach only came with washer/dryer PREP and the dealer or owner added the actual washer. And took the cheap/easy way path of not cutting a hole and installing a vent kit.
