Tested step and did no go either way. It was in the up position. Got the pin out and removed the motor and it worked. Gears looked good but something had it jammed. What do you guys think motor is only two years old. Transmission?

Does it try to open? If so, then it's likely something jamming it.
If not, it's likely electrical.
Happy Glamping.

What I found was I think the motor got jammed and would not open the steps because the rolled pin in the shaft eroded and was allowing movement. So I replaced the motor ,Trans, and controller and it is now working fine. I feel that I am still way ahead being I did all the work myself and not having to pay a RV repair shop $140 plus a hour. I also think that all my old parts are still good after I install a new rolled pin.
