Steps

2012 blonder electric step will go out but binding when coming in just put new motor on

Have you greased all joints? Did the steps move freely after removing motor?

I just went through this... same symptoms.
Remove the motor and "feel" as you move the steps in and out by hand. Look up in there and see if the gear teeth are mess up. You will probably need to change the gearbox as well.
