Steps stay out

2004 bounder steps dont come in when ignition turned on freigtliner chassis. but otherwise work normally

What brand steps do you have? If they are Kwikee, there are troubleshooting steps you can take, but the quickest is that the yellow wire at the step must have 12 VDC when the key is on. You can disconnect the main connector at the step and check there. If you have voltage, and the step operates normally otherwise, the controller is likely bad. If you don't have voltage, check the applicable fuse for that circuit.
