Stupid question - '05 Revolution black plastic under windshield.. what is it?

Ok, so my bus is new to me, and I am trying to figure out what that black plastic piece is just at the windshields bottom.

It has a handle smack dab in the middle, and it feels like it should pull down, pull up, do something...

Also, I am trying to figure out how to access the generator? Silly question I know..

We hada a 205 Fleetwood Excursion. If it's the panel I'm thinking of, it has a key lock on both sides (near the pillar on the coach corners). Once you release the locks, it moves out and up, but stays parallel to the front of the coach. It's kind of stiff, but you pull it toward you and up at the same time with a sharp initial tug.

I too have an 05 Revolution but have no handle or locks on this piece of plastic. Mine does not look like it would come off. If you find out it does, please post the procedure and what good taking it off would do...

pull the handle in the center and lift up, it swings up so you can access the genny from the front.
