Stupid question Fleetwood Bounder

This is a dumb question but the dealer did not explain what these items are for. In a box with a bunch of little items was a tee handled socket tool and a straight bar. I thought they were for manually retracting the slides but nope, the socket is too big.

Any ideas?

Will it fit the wheel cover bolts on the front wheels?

A picture of the tool would help.

As mentioned, the tee is for the 2 removeable hubcap covers lug nuts. The bar slides over the tee handle for a little more leverage.

Make sure you know which 2 lugnuts to remove. The others are dummys. Try to remove the wrong ones and you may end up with the decorative lugs that cant be reinstalled. Look for the 2 lugs with a dimple on the base of them. They will be opposite of each other. Those you remove

I agree with the above post. We had the same item with our Bounder. And you DO have to look for the dimples.

There are never dumb questions. Only inexperience. More than likely, someone here knows the answer to whatever question is asked.

Ours was in an overhead compartment above the couch, which is a funny place to put such items. It took me a few years to figure out what it was. At first I thought it might be for removing the Water Heater Drain Plug.

By the way, it may not be strong enough to remove those cover bolts. A 41mm thin wall socket will work better.

YUP ! My tire shop twisted off the wrong one before I could get out to the shop floor. Now I need to find a dimpled one (with nut inside) to cover the stud.
This is on a 2004 Pace Arrow 37c. Anyone have a source ?

I make sure I remove mine before I get any where near a tire shop.

This sounds like everyone has , Dicor Stainless Wheel Simulators .

Which Dicor no longer supports .

First picture is the Dicor Logo on wheel center cap .
Second the retainer nut .
Third the dimple.
If anyone knows of a supplier for any of these parts now that Dicor has given up . please post, or PM me the site info .
