The dumbest question I have asked yet, but here goes

Does the drivers seat turn 180 degrees ( face the rear of the coach)? I can make the passenger seat turn around like that, but the drivers seem to keep hitting the steering wheel.

I didn't know if this was something possible or am I doing something wrong.

Man I feel like an idiot asking this.

When you get close to the steering wheel, slide the seat away (forward) from the wheel.

On my Fleetwood Discovery I had to move the seat all the way forward, and tilt the backrest forward to get it to turn past the steering wheel.

Smart people ask questions

If I tilt the backrest forward, wont that make it come closer to the steering wheel?

I know, I am an imbecile.

Hi Drake,

I also have the 35 footer and have found no way to 180 the driver seat.

On my Expedition, I run the seat all the way back, not forward, tilt the steering column fully forward, raise the armrest and it spins around.

I didn't know that you could do it that way. Thanks, it worked.

On our expedition, I move the driver seat all the way forward, tilt the steering wheel all the way forward, lift the outside armrest, bring the back of the seat forward, and turn the seat clockwise with no problems.

I think a lot of folks are saying the same thing, but are starting from a different perspective. The simplest sequence is as follows;
  1. Slide the seat all the way back
  2. Tilt the wheel forward
  3. Tilt the seat back forward
  4. Rotate the seat CW until it strikes the wheel
  5. Pull the base of the seat toward the center of the coach
  6. Continue to rotate until seat faces rear.
  7. Slide seat back toward the wheel and/or
  8. Tilt seat back to desired position

An apt description if ever there was one. Now that we have dispensed with the formalities let's get to the nubbin of this post. I hold the distinction of asking the dumbest question on IRV2 and I will not surrender the trophy on something this profound.

Maybe so, but I hold the trophy for the dumbest reply(s). One guy registered just to tell me I was a jerk. He got deleted quickly.

Did he pay his $15.03? And could he get his seat to swivel?

The OP wants to turn his seat around and cannot, I can and I do not want to? Life is not fair.
