Thermostat upgrade.

I own 2003 ae 40w, it has a RVcomfort .zc thermostat. 2 zones with propane furnaces for heat along with heating strips in roof ac. Cooling are 2 roof ac. Has anyone upgraded their thermostat with a modern one that has larger screen and easy to install? What type or brand did you choose & has it been working properly ? Thanks in advance.

Yes We installed Micro Air and it was easy to install and works great. It has a Wifi and is also Bluetooth.

Microair tstat is awesome. Just make sure you order the right one. If you do it is plug and play for the connections. Then just configure ACs, heat pumps and furnaces on your system.

We really like our MicroAir thermostat. We used it for the first time in Florida. Worked great. I couldnít get it to Bluetooth to the campground Wi-Fi , when we were away from the camper. Iím going to do some more research on it. Havenít contacted MicroAir. Iím sure itís something Iím not doing right rather than the thermostat. Itís a huge upgrade from the original. As far as controlling the heat pumps, Iíd contact them to see if they have one for your application.

I believe it should Bluetooth to a phone in a close range. Wifi connect when away from camper.

Micro-air is having a 15% off extended Black Friday sale on t-stats and easy-starts...use their website to pick the correct model or call them next week.

I would contact Micro Aire before I made the change. The old Atwood thermostat uses a different cable than the newer coaches that folks above have. Also, are your propane furnaces dual output? Do you have a heat pump. Are your A/C's Coleman or some other brand? I'm not saying the Micro Aire solution isn't right for you, but I would call them first before I put my money down.
