I never had a problem with my National Sea Breeze, but since I bought my Pace Arrow I can't check my tire pressure. I have read many bad reviews on cable type extentions. Does anyone have any sugestions? I put on tons of miles from cold MN to warm climates so I like to check tire presure often.

Go to a truck tire service center and ask to buy one of their tire guages. They use a guage with a long reach to pass through the holes in the rims. I have to use a double headed guage that has an offset.

Like this but mine has a straight head at the end, so I can get the inside valve straight on as the example on the right. You will also need a cap to let you check the air. I'll get you the name of it, but I believe it has the word "Alligator" in the name.

Thanks Tom!
I do have a similar one bot it is at a 45 deg angle...I will try to locate a straight one...Thanks!

I bought the combo straight/angle head tire chuck at NAPA for about $30 and it works fine. However, someday I would like to go to a truck tire shop and have them install metal stems that can be bent and protrude through the wheel opening instead of the stock braided extention provided by Fleetwood.

Try the Extended valves from Borg .... since they replace the existing rubber valve stems and extend the valve to the outside they are both safe and easy to use.
