Toilet Leak 2019 Southwind 35K

I have a leak on our rear toilet coming from where the base meets the floor. First I tightened the clamp ring and the 4 bolts attaching it to the floor. So what's next, replace the flange seal?

I always got a mirror and looked around behind the toilet before starting any repairs. Most leaks were from the vacuum breaker. Next was fittings. I would check these first.

Isn't your 2019 under a manufacturer's warranty?

Yes, I'm still under warranty. I would like to fix it myself before I wait 6 weeks for an appointment and another month or so after they tell me they have to order the part. The RV industry is really messed up.

Mine was a cracked flange. Covered under warranty. Only took Lazydays 6 months of having the RV to fix it.
The flange will crack when the imbecile installing doesn’t follow directions and tighter to spec

Take it to the dealer. You could fix it but you shouldn’t have to. I do all my repairs so we’re alike in that respect.

I see allot of posts about your Southwind. Would you say most of your issues are minor or would you say you are extremely disappointed?

I really like the looks of this model but sounds like there are issues. Apparently normal with all brands though, sad!

Have you checked your windows for leaks? I read that these flush frameless windows have been nightmares and no caulking has been installed. This is crazy, I don’t care if gas or diesel they are all expensive and this should not be worrisome for new coaches. I hope yours are sealed and installed properly.

The more I read about new coaches the more nervous I become and just think we should just keep our 2004 that we know inside out that doesn’t cost to own.

I would be happy to hear your issues are not as bad as they seem and you are happy with your Coach.

Some of the items that I have experienced are considered major. Our RV has been out of service more than it's been in service. 12 month warranty is due up next month and am really concerned about this. We love the floor plan and hope that once these bugs get ironed out, it will be smooth sailing, until then I hope it's not at my expense.

Contact Fleetwood CS and tell them of your concerns and issues. I had a similar issue with Lazydays having my new RV for 6 months and NOT fixing it. FW extended my warranty by 6 months.
FYI NEVER NEVER NEVER will I bring a unit to Lazydays for service EVER again.
