Touch-up Paint for REV coaches - Where to Find
We recently got a new 2017 Diplomat made by REV Group. I'm wondering if someone can tell me how to get touch-up paint for it. I received the four Akzo Nobel paint codes, all beginning with FLNAxxxxx, from REV customer service. Newer Fleetwood and American coaches probably use the same paint.
I imagine the paint is made by Sikkens, which as near as I can figure out from Internet searching, is the division of Akzo Nobel who makes automotive paint finishes. But I cannot find any paint distributer here in SE Pennsylvania who can read or identify these paint codes. If anyone has been successful in obtaining touch-up paint, could you please tell me how you got it?
Thanks.

Don't know if this will be of help......but you could check with Precision Painting there in Indiana. I'm not sure, but they may have painted your coach?

Pointrow, thanks for the tip about the Decatur Service Shop. I'm going to try to contact them to see if they have the touch-up paint I need.

W.D., can you tell me a little more about Precision Painting? Do you know if REV consitantly uses them as a "third party" to paint their coaches. I would have thought they'd do their own painting in house, but what do I know?

I'd be happy to. They are located in Bremen Indiana and do a very wide range of work including interior rebuilds. It really seams there isn't much they don't do. Here is their web site:
http://www.precisionpaintingrv.com/p...-painting.html
They were the exclusive painter of the Travel Supreme line. They state on their site they currently are the OEM painter for several RV manufacturers, but don't say who.
All of their contact info is on the site. Give 'em a call, I've talked to them myself, and they're very gracious taking time answer questions etc. I'm sure you can get in the direction you need to go after a visit with them. Let us know what you come up with, they do fantastic work.
Regards,
W.D.

Picked-up 4 colors for my '16 Bounder at the factory in June, 2016, and they charged me $12 per small bottle with brush in cap...

Rev Group has their own paint facility in-house that does all the painting for Fleetwood, AC, Monaco & HR. And you can get touch-up paints from Rev Group parts dept - call your Monaco Customer Service line and inquire. They will get you hooked up with the right place.

I've used this outfit for touch-up pens, and regular 12oz areosol spray cans. If you call Skip, he will take care of you:

Thanks, Gary. That sounds like the best bet. ...especially since most all touch-up paint internet vendors insist that you tell them what kind of "car" you have before you can put in your paint code.

I believe I've ordered that paint before... the color chart I have lists FLNA80523 as Lt Champagne and also as 751052. I got that from Fleetwood Customer Service when I was doing some checking on a paint color listed on a door. They ended up replacing the door and the dealer repainted it and said they colormatched it... but here's the Paint scratch page re that color. It says it's from a 1966 Fleetwood but its the 751052 code. Hope it helps:

Thanks Tom. That sure does look like the same color that's on my coach. Hard to believe that the very same color has been around for 50 years though. Out of curiosity I'm going to take my tablet out to the motorhome and see how close the color patch in that link you sent looks. The code for my coach is the FLNA80523 code, and that's the color on my door that has some chips that need repaired.
Did Fleetwood customer service tell you those two codes were for the very same color? Also, did you say above that you have a color chart for Fleetwood paint codes? If so, do you happen to have it in digital format?

I had a door that was marked light champagne on my fleetwood flair, I was trying to get the pantene color for the gelcoat, since I had a chip in front. (I eventually figured it all out) None of my color codes were listed on my paperwork in the coach...but they sent me an image of the color code for the light champagne color from a list, it only included a few colors... The line read,
FLNA80523 Light Champagne 751052.
The email from fleetwood said the left number was the Akzo Noble code, and the right was the axalta code... There was no reference to a year, but I seem to recall that color also went to a 2014 when I did a search last year. I eventually got the right paperwork when I asked for the build sheets.
