Touchup Paint

Can you recommend a source for touchup paint? I have a 2010 Bounder.

A dealer or the factory will have small bottles when you give them your VIN if your coach is fairly new.

Otherwise, Advanced, NAPA, will have a selection that's close, considering that a MH is a 20' viewing, not concourse.

Finally, get a paint store to scan your coach when you take it to them.

Remember that many MHs are parked the same way every year of their lives, so the sunward side is faded to a greater extent than the north side. Factory paint colors aren't exact after a few years.

I called Fleetwood some time ago for touch up paint. They wanted $25 each for those small touch up bottles, maybe a couple of ounces each, if that. I passed. If someone comes up with a viable alternative, I'm all ears.

The paint I received with the purchase of my motor home back in 2010, dried out. That is why I am looking for a source now that I need to touch up a few spots.

Try Automotive Touch Up Paint from PaintScratch - Order Pro Grade Paint. They have Winnebago in their drop down box, and I am sure they have others too.

Got some touch up paint from an Automotive Paint and Supply Company. ( APSCO) here in Louisiana. Might be another name in different states. They had a paint scanner that they put on my refrigerator outside vent that I brought to them. Orileys Auto Parts could get it and they had the scanner to do the same thing but I think the least you could get was a quart. I think they quoted me in the neighborhood of 85 to 90 dollars. My body shop man told me where to go to get some..

I got all the colors for my MH from paintscratch. Get the brand, and color codes on your coach and they can match them. The biggest problem is fade. I had one color that had faded slightly (as discussed above), so the touch up paint was perfect in one section, and a bit too dark in another.

I had all my colors from the factory but never had much luck using them. It always looked like " I " touched it up. :(

That's cheap, our dealership just paid $97.00 for some special white color in the same small size bottle. I think it was something like Mystic Pearl White.

I would go to NAPA, I know some of their stores can even scan the color from a picture.

The codes are on a label stuck to the inside of the wardrobe door for the past couple years. Must be stuck somewhere. Used to be Dupont now Axalta paint.
