Transfer switch
I'm looking for the exact location of the transfer switch on my 08 Bounder 38P. The schematic shows it in the same location as the generator and the toilet. Doesn't appear to be in either location unless between the two in the floor area?
If there's a picture that would tremendous.

I should be near your electrical panel, or attached to it.

The schematic shows it on the drivers side and the elect panel is on the passenger. I've looked in the vicinity of the elect panel and there are no other boxes than the panel.

Follow your shore power cord. It terminates in the transfer switch.

My 08 35E Bounder had it under a drawer in the bedroom.

This is usually NOT true. The power cord will terminate in a J-Box and exit via solid strand house wiring. The wiring can easily disappear into the maze from there.
I would attempt to trace the power back from the breakers in the Main Breaker Panel. Most, but certainly not all, Fleetwood coaches that I've ever worked on, had the switch locate near the Panel.
Tracing the power from the generator to the switch is often easiest, as well. There generally are no additional junction boxes involved between the Switch and the Terminals where the generator outputs are wired into the coach.

Talking to a Fleetwood tech and following the print we've located the area but now finding access to it will be another story I'm sure. I will let you know how I find access to it.

If you would tell us where Fleetwood told you that is was, we may be able to suggest ways to access.

I found it just exactly where the print said it is, I didn't think the print would be that exact. The mid wall where one TV is the wall is hollow and the bottom panel has six screws, take em out, drop the panel and there it is on a inner wall.
Thanks, Stan
tried to upload picture but don't know how.

Seriously. I thought under a drawer was well hidden.
