Transfer Switch Where?
As my signature states, I have a 03 model with the 5500 generator on the driver’s side underneath the bedroom and bathroom. The 120-volt electrical wire from above the generator enters the coach between both walls and goes up to a bedroom cabinet near the ceiling where the 120-volt breaker and 12-volt fuse box is located.
Behind the panel, there are these modules:
A. Front and bed slide modules relays
B. water pump relay
C. Electrical Control Temperature Share Module
D. 15-amp Transfer Switch
This 15-amp transfer switch module has 3 wires: shore power, generator and delivery line. I believe this is for the rear air conditioner part of the 20-amp share management system.
What I been told and have read, there is another transfer switch to management the main 30-amps system from shore power or generator. I looked everywhere, and can’t find one if there is one. In my coach, there are 3 locations where “all” the electrical connections are made:
(1) behind the breaker box,
(2) under the refrigerator and
(3) behind the temperature controls cabinet in the living room where the battery monitor and water tanks monitor system are located.
There is nowhere any area of any connections are made in the coach, besides the hood where the 12-volt electrical fuses are. Where else can it be?
Thank You in Advance for your support and expertise with your knowledge. Have a Great Blessed Day……..

On my Southwind, that solenoid is located inside the circuit breaker panel, directly behind the 12 volt fuses.
Disconnect shore power, and physically disconnect both the chassis and coach batteries.
Take photos as you go in case something gets disconnected or falls off.
Remove the front cover from the power panel. Remove the screws that hold the 12 volt fuse panel section, then kind of pull it out of the way, You may need to remove the large 12 volt feed wires from the panel to do this.
You'll be able to see the solenoid behind the fuse panel.
