Tri-Mark Baggage Door Locks Re-Key?
Anyone know how to re-key a Tri-Mark lock. I have 8 compartments with locks, 5 with one key ( I have it's #), and 3 with another key ( no # as the available keys are re-makes with only a blank number on them).
I bought 4 tumbler sets of the proper key # from RVGOD on E-Bay to replace the 3 unknown # locks so they would all be the same. Assumed I would be able to figure it out.
No luck!!
I searched these forums but had no luck with old threads on the subject.

Yes, I plan on calling them this week to order some cut keys, all mine are worn. I may end up buying some new latch assemblys if they will/can key them to match my other 5.
Have the MH at home today, installing new AC shrouds, thought I would task the forum brain waves while it was handy. HOA doesn't allow on site storage.

Update:
Called Tri-Mark today and ordered 2 cut keys each of 4 different keys that were well worn. Sales person advised me I would need a "$10 special tool" for each tumbler/key number that I wished to remove from a latch.
So I ordered new latches also with no tumblers and I will install my tumblers in them.
I will have some extra latches with locks that I cannot remove the tumblers from because I don't have the original key number. Anyone that comes up with the secret let me know.

Figured this out
Although the keys were cut different, they were the same blank. The "special tool" to remove tumblers is no more than a key of the same blank that is longer from the pointed end to the shoulder that determines how far into the tumbler the key can be inserted. If you remove about 1/8 inch of material from the key stop shoulders and push it all the way into the tumbler you wish to remove, it comes right out. You will normally hear a little "click" when you have pushed the special key in far enough. Then just wiggle it loose and out.
BTW the lock must be in the unlocked position to remove it so this info is pretty useless for illegal access.

Thanks for the update; that might help someone else sometime. Glad you got it figured out.
