Using my 2014 OBDII scanner on 2000 Pace arrow

I'm using a 2014 OBDII scanner what vehicle do I put in that would be representing my 2000 Pace Arrow Vision the highest they go is a Ford 7.3 450 dually I am trying to clear my code p0112 air breather sensor that I replaced. Now I'm trying to erase the code it will go off for maybe two minutes and then come back on any suggestions on how to clear or erase the code completely? I have already tried to disconnect the negative battery terminal and then reconnected the next day however the light still shows up I cannot see any other problem other than the sensor to the air breather.

You have misdiagnosed the problem. The engine computer still is not getting info from the sensor, thus resetting the CEL. Do you have any live data or is this just a code reader? Look for a bad connection or broken wire.

The code comes back because the ECM is not detecting the new sensor or the new sensor is defective.

Thanks Bruce I'll check it out tomorrow I plugged the new sensor in but I'll trace the wires do they go back to the engine or to the firewall?

where do the wires come from that go to the sensor are they out of the fuse box near the engine compartment so I can trace the wires is there a way to troubleshoot the sensor to see if it's getting electricity I guess I would have to have the key on or the engine running

What engine exactly do you have? You need to know that so you can find a wiring diagram. Different engine control computers may show the same code for different things. Do not probe around there with a test light or by a cheap multimeter.. If your scanner shows a live data stream, that is where you should start. What value is being shown?
First look at the data for the sensor key on, engine off. Then start the engine and watch the data. It should increase as the engine warms up. If the value stays the same or looks way off from outside air temperature, the ecm is programed to substitute some data from the hard drive, if you will. 90 % chance that it is not the ecm.
Not trying to scare you, just be careful. A code reading is not a diagnosis, just a starting point.

It is a Ford f53 with a V10 Trinitron and a 7.3 engine I'm going to remove the sensor and test it with an ohms meter however I do not have a scan code reader with data the engine warms up good idles properly I just took it down the road to put a full tank of gas in it however the ECM throws a p0112 code it says on the low side. And then another code p1000 computer diagnose board. That's why I am wondering if my scanner is outdated and the computer board is not picking up the correct vehicle description with my scanner and it won't allow me to clear the code properly. Are there OBD scanners that are not compatible with the 2000 face Arrow motorhome is my only thoughts I have a background in mechanics worked on many vehicles including classic cars but I'm new to the RV World

Update I trouble shot the sensor and it is that's the one giving me the correct reading when I put it to my multi tester the ohms show 28 to 30 but I put a hair blower on it that goes down to 18 homes so it is telling me that it is working I'm wondering if I am putting the filter housing back correctly so the air passes through to get a proper reading I noticed there is an arrow on the air filter housing is that supposed to face towards the engine?
