Having hard time filling up toilet with water by lifting the foot pedal. It says to adjust the cam strap but I can't find any info on how to do this. Anyone.

Cam Strap is the curved piece on pedal lever rod (under pedal cover) that pushes down on the Water Valve actuating Knob
Knob should almost be touching the strap when in 'neutral position '
Remove pedal cover and check how pedal lever rod is held in place.
Can't remember if it has notched area it slips into or if tension from spring cartridge assembly holds it in place

Dometic told me to bend the cam strap. Didn't mention how, as the metal is thick and sturdy. I tried with 2 heavy duty pliars, won't budge. Put call back in, waiting for reply.
