Vacuum Toilet Relocate?

Hello, we have a 2015 34T, we like the layout and the chassis and other than the poor workmanship throughout enjoy it when I’m not fixing Fleetwoods poor engineering and quality control issues.
Anyway, I’m about to do maintenance on the pump, change duckbills etc, I’m wondering if anyone has relocated the vacuum pump for better access. I have read through most of the posts on the toilet and in our case it has worked well to this point.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ken

Isn't doing Fleetwood's job fun? Make one wonder how they ever get them out the door. Has the microwave fell out yet?

My Vaccuflush is above the propane tank and I am under the impression that 2016 was the first year they located it there, but I don't know.

My biggest challenge was getting the hose separated from the pump so I could get the unit apart to fix my clog and replace the duckbill valves. This is the thread http://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/vacuf...ed-441781.html

I do not understand why they don't use a union before and after the duckbill valves so one can pull it apart easier. I tried to look around at the Big Orange Store to see if I could jury-rig something together but couldn't find anything and was running short on time.

Another forum member gave me a good lead for parts https://www.marinesan.com/AboutUs.asp you might look around and see if they have what you need for any relocating. I online ordered from the on a Friday late afternoon and Brown had them on my doorstep Monday. I figured that they wouldn't ship till Monday so I was happy.

Good luck on the job.

Microwave

RRR, thanks for the reply, have not had the microwave fall, please explain the fix.
I have had the refrigerator fall out, wire loom fall on driveshaft and short out about a dozen wires and countless other more minor issues.
It’s a dirty shame a company can put out a product that is so expensive and needs to be road worthy with such terrible build quality.
We own a small business and would be ashamed to produce such a poorly built product. But I digress, we are heading out this week and would welcome the microwave information to try and avoid another catastrophe.
Thank you,
Ken

So is your Vacuflush located above the propane tank? The tough part is that if would have been located a closer to the front (for me) it would have helped greatly.

As the Microwave falling, fortunately I caught before disaster. See http://www.irv2.com/forums/f107/sque...rs-449677.html starting about post 10. Hope yours is properly installed.

No, I’m lucky enough to have it mounted in the basement inside the rails. I do have two access panels though, I understand some only have one.
I’m hoping to move it into the compartment and was hoping someone else has already done it.

Look closely at the flush the vacuflush followup pics Page 11 date 10-30-15 that I posted my new unit has all threaded connections. I also added in line shut off valves so that if 1 toilet is down, the other can still be used, very handy also for isolating a toilet to find a vacuum leak.

Nice job Rick. When you wrote that up was before I had one of these sucker toilets. I'm gonna put the mods on my list.
