Years ago in my 2007 Expedition, the screws were along the edges at an angle, you need to feel around the edges with your fingertips and locate two or three on each side that holds it to the wall.

On my 1999 Southwind. Open the window so you can stick your head in there and look up. The top of the valance is held on with a couple angle brackets and sheet rock screws. A long screwdriver can get to the screws.

On the very bottom of the side pieces, there is a screw that goes up through the side piece and into the wall at an angle..

Hope your is the same..

Update on removal. I found a dry wall screw in the bottom of each side on a 45deg. angle. Took them out and three across the top with a long extension for my electric screw driver and the complete valance and curtain came out together.
