Vizio tv keep or replace?
Love the floorplan on the 2017-2018 Bounder 35k, was surprised to find VIZIO TVS, never heard of them. Would like to hear Bounder owners comments on quality of picture, is it a keeper or would you think of replacing it?

I have a vizio tv in my living room. I am not a picture quality snob though so probably not the person to be replying about picture quality. The Vizio tv's seem to be a good quality picture and mine has held up very well. I like it and would replace it with another one. Less expensive than buying a big name tv like Samsung.

I've seen Vizio TVs in many places, they always seemed to be OK.
I'd say if you like the quality of the display then keep it, if not then go to Best Buy and find one you like better and replace it.
To ME it's all about the quality of the display on a TV, they all pretty much pick up the same channels, so that's much less of an issue.

FW seems to change the TV every few months. I have Sony. Others will have Jensen. The there are LG owners. Now Vizio. Go figure. And that's just in the past 18 months. Probably who gives them the best deal at the moment. Certainly not a model year thing.
Hopefully you are not basing a decision to buy at $150k RV solely on the brand of a couple hundred dollar TV.
Vizio has been around since 2002

I had a Muntz TV once. Longtime ago. We used to watch Korean War news nightly news. Circa 1953. [emoji846]

I swapped out the OEM analog TV boat anchor in 2008 with a 32" 13# VIZIO and added a VIZIO in bedroom of my 5th wheel.
Let them mounted as we traveled (FT---weekly) and not one issue
Came off road...bought a house and 2 VIZIOs.
The one in den lasted 2 yrs then faded to black........go figure
Haven't replaced it yet but would buy another VIZIO . Things fail......they are inexpensive, good picture/sound.
Besides........everything anymore is 'throw-away'
Cost be more for repairs then a newer bigger one
Recalls & throw-aways......welcome to the 21st Century

Much like other TVs, the Vizio sets vary greatly by features and price point. I have 2 different size/models and they are fine. (fine meaning good HiDef picture).

I have used Vizio for computers at work (dozens) and home (TV and computers), and they've been great. Very reliable IMO.

Would prefer to the Sansui Tv's in my Fleetwood .
Hadn't heard of them since Quadraphonic went out in the late 70s.
If I replace it will be with Sony.

We replaced our OEM CRT TV's with Vizio's many years ago. Got 'em at WalMart. The bigger one is 1080p, the smaller 720p. Not one problem with either of them.

FWIW
The Vizio Soundbar available from Walmart is the one I now have under the bedroom TV in my 35K. Fits perfectly and gives enough volume to hear the TV above the noise when it's raining.
