Wanted info on 1996 Pace Arrow Vision

Hi all.
I am need of some help. Looking for info on my recently purchased 1996 Pace Arrow Vision.
I need info on the RV Electronics PLM-30A that is installed in this unit.
Is it a surge protector or is it a relay switch for gen/shore power?
also can anyone send me pics of one with the cover off?
I want to make sure that the wiring is correct as previous owner messed with it.
I know some say that i should replace but i feel that this unit still works if connected correctly.
The previous owner was trying to correct a problem with getting no power from gen set to coach.
my tests show that gen is not producing power at all. I want to test the voltage regulator once i find test procedures for it. BMG5500 Gen Set.

You should be able to find your onan manual here;
Index of /~n0nas/manuals/onan

Does the generator stay running? Most often they won't run if they are not producing AC.

Thank you. And yes the generator stays running. I've checked for power at the power cable coming out of the generator with a volt meter. No power there.

The generator has circuit breaker that may have tripped. It's right on the generator but mine was difficult to see. The generator will run but not produce power if that circuit breaker is tripped.

Spent a weekend boondocking without power once because we tripped the breaker and I didn't know it existed. Wife was popping popcorn in microwave, I had coffee pot on and daughter turned on toaster over and poof...no power. I knew I blew a breaker but couldn't find it (looked in coach panel). Didn't think to look on the generator...
