Water leak

As you know I have been looking for a class A. The choice is between a 2002 National Dolphin 34 ft with under 24,000 miles and under 200 hours on genny. The other is a 2000 36T Fleetwood Southwind with 65,000 miles and 700 hours on the genny. Both have minor cosmetic damage. My question is what to offer..They have asked 29,000 and they will fix several issues. LP detector malfunctioning. They will replace.Chassis battery to be replaced. When I drove it it felt very solid and has Ford v10 with banks platform?...
The tires are good but I noticed hardwood floor on other side of shower had two pieces cupped and there apparently is a slow leak in shower. They said they would correct the leak and repair flooring. Is this a deal breaker? My friend who knows about RV says run from a water leak....advice please....
The reason I am leaning toward the Southwind is feels more solid than the National...the leak just has me second guessing.
Also how important are awnings over slides? One is torn and they don't want to replace....
Shar
PS bet you all will be glad when I can make up my mind.....:-)

The water leak around the shower base most likely not serious but should be inspected by a qualified third party, in fact either coach must be inspected. Probably the best three to four hundred dollars well spent! The awning is a relatively inexpensive fix. Many after market providers out there. Most money on the awning is the replacement labor cost. Estimate two to four hundred dollars. Best of luck.

Thanks Clay...Do you know how to find a indep. Inspector?. When I looked it up on line they sent me to the dealer that has the National...not the Southwind...maybe not a good idea. Then it brought up a Nationwide chain. Ill have to call to find lead time I guesd

OK I found RV inspectors listed online called The Lemon Squad. They are national but have inspectors out of Denver. They could have done it tomorrow if I wanted. They said to set it up after dealer was done with all the repairs and before I took possession. $299. Sounds reasonable. The dealer wouldn't move on the price but thats ok.
