Weather Pro Power Awning Problem

I have an electrical wire unrolling from my roller tube on the end opposite the motor. Does anyone know what this is for, one end goes into the housing that looks like the motor on the other end and other end of wire goes into one of the awning grooves and goes to the other end (motor end). Problem is I don't see anywhere for the wire to roll up since the roller rotates and the arm doesn't.

Thanks,
Dave

I only have two large wires running to the motor at the end of the tube. Perhaps someone had installed some type of awning lights?

I have 2 small wires running through the hem on my awning material. They actually power the LED lights on my roller tube and roll up with the awning when its closed.

Maybe you had LED lights on your tube at one time. Are you the original owner of the coach?
