What is this switch for?

While driving the other day, I noticed what I would call a microswitch that I have no idea what it is for. It is not mounted but instead hanging from two small wires up near the windshield on the drivers side. It is hanging down from the area near the front windshield power shade. Its not a swith really but a push button almost like a reset or something. Any clues?

Using the WAG method to speculate, I'm guessing the switch might be to adjust the stop point on your sunshade or screen for the windshield.

Exactly it is the button to enter programming mode , are they real MCD shades ? Best addition you could make is put the sunshade in also, then you can look out all day without everyone seeing in.

Not sure if it is an mcd or not. It is the powershade for the front window that Fleetwood put in from the factory. Any idea how the programming works?

That looks like the switch! Thanks! I wonder if I could add motors to my other shades? That would be really nice!
