What is this vent? 2002 Revolution 40c
We're buying a 2002 Revolution 40c - can anyone tell me what the small vent panel on the outside at the back left side in these pictures is for? It's riveted in place but has a little rust on the edge and I'd like to remove it and repaint - but neither or the salesman can figure out exactly why it is there.
Sorry about the long photo link - thought I had it isolated - see my latest reply with a correct picture.
Thanks

The only opening I saw on the rear left side of the coach is the air inlet screen where outside air enters the air filter for the engine.

The vent at the rear left side is the air intake for the engine. Johnrr: You are showing the RIGHT side.

It is the air intake for the engine. If you open the bay door below it you will see a black canister, that is the air filter. There is a hose that runs from the filter to an opening that leads to that vent.

Air intake crank it up and listen get close and it will suck you brains out of your ear. If it has the original filter it will need to be changed.

Too small for the engine, and does not look like the water heater. Open the cover and see what's behind it.
