Where are the batteries located??
Ugh, the more I start attempting to learn about RV’ing, the dumber I feel. Can anyone tell me where the house batteries are located in a 2008 Fiesta LX 34N? I found one battery in the very front under the engine cover, so I’m going to assume that’s the engine battery. I tried looking in the manual but it tells everything except where they’re actually located.

One way to find out is to request all electrical schematics from Fleetwood. When I requested mine I recieved a email with them the same day. ( I also got water, low and high voltage, and cable TV drawings, and some structural drawings.

Likely under the steps. There will be screws to move so as to gain access.

My Southwind had 2 large silver screw heads very visible. Remove the screws and slide the step out.

I have a 2013 FW Storm which is the cousin of the Fiesta. My house batteries are under the inside steps. As indicated there are 2 large head screws, one on either side of the compartment. Unscrew them and then you can lift off the cover and will see your batteries. I have 2, 6volt house deep cycle batteries. Two six volts will give you more bang for the buck for the 12v side of accessories. They power the 12v lights and generally the circuit boards for various appliances (refrig, heater, etc.) that you might have. Check the water in them often and keep them charged and you will remain a happy camper.
