Where is the switch for this light?
Hey All,
I have a 1997 Bounder 34J and there is an outside porch light on the driver's side, between the booth and the bathroom. I am looking for the switch/circuit and it is making me a bit crazy I am planning to replace this light with a motion sensitive light.
Thanks,
ML

If it's like our 2007 Bounder the light is over the utility bay, and it's controlled by a switch on the dash - I believe it's labelled "Utility" or something like that...
The switch also controls a light under the hood.

2005 has it on the dash too. Turns on that light and the one in the utilities bay. I guess that outside light is to light up the area to help hooking up at night.

On my 95 34J it was a green rocker switch on the dash.

Mine is activated by the flip switch for the storage compartments.

It's on the dash.

This is correct for your coach.

On my 97 Bounder it is indeed the switch on the dash marked “Utility” and it also turns on a light in the engine compartment.

The light is usually called a “Docking Light”.

Might want to reconsider a motion sensitive light on the driver's side. Your neighbors in the RV park may not be too happy with a light coming on constantly...
When we bought our RV we discovered the driver's side docking light was disconnected. We assumed the previous owners used the curb side docking light as an additional patio light and didn't want to annoy their neighbors.

Just a note that on my 2018, the Utility switch also powers the basement light for the wet bay, unlike the rest of the basement lights.
