Where's the door switch?

We recently bought a 2009 American Tradition. We’re messing with it every day, getting up to speed how things work. The kwikee steps, according to the online (didnt get a hard copy) owners manual, should have a switch to keep the steps extended when the bus is static. Can someone help me , where is the danged switch? Ive looked and looked. What am I missing? This thing has all kind of bells and whistles, I cant imagine not having that switch.

Hi Jandcinok,
Per the online users manual, there should be a switch just inside the door.
I couldn't find a picture of it though.

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/81...page=50#manual

"The power entry step is controlled by a magnetic entry door position switch, the engine ignition switch and by an override switch located near the entry door."
"The entry step will typically extend and retract with the opening and closing of the entry door as controlled by the entry door position switch(function is automatic). Activating the override switch will move the entry step to the extended position, and it will stay there regardless of whether the door is open or closed."

You should have a whole panel of pushbutton switches near the entry door. Find it and post a photo - one of them is the step mode switch.
