Who else has weighed their Revolution?

I took it to the scales today fully loaded. I didn't have the rest of the family (300lbs total), but did have a full black tank and 3/4 full grey (normally empty which added at least 500lbs) plus full fresh, and Full tank of diesel. The front axle was well centered on the scale and came in at 13,020 (at least 1,000lbs to spare). The rear was only 22,800 for drive plus tag. I don't know if the scale read the rear correctly because I was close to the end of the scale platform with the rear wheels. Anyone else get a rear weight that is similar? If that is correct, then when I dump the tag for tight corners and to backup, I'm basically not overloading the drive axle, which is something I was worried about.

Thanks,
Rick

You didn't mention a year or size for your Rev, but my '04 American Tradition (a kissin' cousin ofthe Rev) 40 footer is 19,700 on the drive axle (no tag) and 12, 600 on the front.

Yours is probably 42-43 feet if it has a tag, so the numbers sound like the right ball park.

Can't be too far off. Ours was weighed with full fuel and fresh water, no personal effects or people. We had just under an 8k CCC. The front axle came in at about 12300, as I recall, and the rear, both axles, at around 24k. (I don't have the weight sheet in front of me)

Sorry, mine is a 2010 42W. Sounds like it is about right. No way you could overload the rear of these things....

Weighed Revolution

Picking up your tag to backup or to make a tight corner will not hurt the rear axle no longer than you will have it up. If you ran it down the road at speed with tag up, maybe. That axle is probably a 20000 lb unit. The tires will have a problem before the axle. Been there, done that with trucks for years.
