Every time we take a trip we have some type of problems with the wipers.
1st trip, motor goes out (warranty)
2nd trip, left arm falls off, nut came loose (warranty)
3rd trip, wipers start hitting each other on high speed
4th trip, right side arm snaps into
5th trip same has 3rd trip, when off they line up straight across the windshield like they should, but on higher speeds they will hit each other when wiping.

Its been so long since we've had rain in Texas my wiper arms are probably frozen in place. I will need to stop and think where the wiper on/off knob is located.

Hey Todd,

I have a 2008 35E so we should have similar, if not identical, wiper assemblies. Have not had a problem but a suggestion may be to physically check wipers while running to see if there is any play or loose parts in the operation. Do it yourself and save the bucks if you can.

I don't have the same type of problem with my wipers, but I have had a years long problem with the passenger side wiper "chattering" it's way across the winshield. I have tried numerous changes of blades, and making sure all the connections are firm....but the problem persists. Anyone have a similar problem?

Fleetwood Bounder Wiper Arm Broke

2009 Bounder 36B broke the drivers side wiper arm in Louisiana in a driving rain and a windshield full of love bugs. Fortunately I use Rain X for my washer fluid. The arm came apart where the hinge pin is. It appears electrolysis may be the problem. Stopped at several truck repair facilities with no luck. Changed the Passenger side over to the drivers side and made it home but notice the other arm has the same problem.

We need a specific application for the arm to be able to obtain one on the road. I am thinking an arm off an old International Cab Over Engine Truck may work. Hope to find out Monday.
