Is it found to be the case that build quality can be correlated to the price point in a brand's line up? Lower price, poorer quality and so on?

We bought a new 2008 bounder, at the end of 07 and took a tour of the Riverside, CA. operation before it closed. Bounders were building on the same line as the Southwinds and Pacearrows so no difference in labor, just upgraded materials, options and different floor plans. We loved our Bounder with few wrinkles to iron out.

We bought a 2012 Fleetwood Bounder 35K new and it has been a absolutely great motorhome. Never had it back to dealership for any repairs (knock on wood). We recently bought a Renegade Villagio to downsize and would of definitely looked and probably bought a Fleetwood but they no longer make a sprinter chassis. If we ever decided to go big again we would probably buy a Fleetwood DP.
