So 05 Bounder time to winterize but hope to use in Dec. Curious about air. If i do this how do I get the water out of the pump? Done lost one.

The pumps are rather resilient and resistant to freezing when the water level is quite low inside but it bothered me too so what I'd do after blowing out all the water I could was to just disconnect the input and output pipes to the pump. The connectors are all plastic with PEX plumbing so it was easy to do by hand, didn't even need a tool. Then I'd drain the pump. Put it back in place and boom, done in under a minute.
