Winterizing and syphon valve
Good day everyone;
I have purchased a used 2012 Fleetwood Expedition 36M in August and now is the time to winterize it for the Canadian winter. I read in several places that some MH have a syphone valve that you can connect a small hose directly from your 5 gallon jug of antifreeze so when you turn on the water pump, it will push the pink juice to all the outlets.
I just can't find it in the Water Bay and since my previous Monaco model had one but it was hidden, I was wondering if this is the case here in my current Coach.
I could not find that information in reading the Winterizing topics in the Owner's manual.
Any insights on this or what would be the work around is welcome.

Welcome to iRV2.
A work around , would be to locate the 12 volt pump and trace the inlet back to the fresh tank . If you can't locate a syphon valve; then , you'll have to purchase a hose with a connection for the pump , and attach it to the pump in place of the inlet line.
EDIT : Canadian Tire and Amazon , show a kit to install your own brass valve and pick up hose for $32 CD , but I've seen a temporary hose for under $10.

Camco makes a little kit with complete directions that you can splice into the water line. It has a selector valve and an input connection with a cap where you connect your hose or tubing that you put in the pink stuff, turn on the water pump and it sucks the stuff into the water lines. Only takes less than 2 gallons to do my unit. Just remember to turn the valve back to towards the water tank after you’re done. Otherwise no water when you turn on pump next time. Guess how I learned that lesson.

Does your unit have a valve like this Anderson Kantleak valve? If so, the three o'clock position is the suction setting using the water inlet (just to the right in the pic).
My understanding is that some of them only have three positions, but mine has four - 12:00 is 'normal', with the pump pulling from the fresh tank, 3:00 is sanitize/winterize, with the pump pulling from the hose inlet for a suction tube into a bottle of something, 6:00 is the city water pressure setting, so park water is just pushed through the system and no pump needed, and 9:00 is Tank, with city water filling the fresh tank.
If you knew all that, my apologies.

Hi, no it does not, you would think this type of system would be standard on most unit!
I have finally figured it out with all the help here. Thanks.

winterize
I had one made at my local rv Dealer. It was a threaded L, a clear hose and a hose clamp. They made it right there less than $10.
Just curious I see alot of people say they use 2 or less gallons of antifreeze mine takes 5 plus and I dont fill the fresh water tank or the water heater. I even put a plastic water bottle in the filter canister to help cut back. it takes pretty much a gallon to shut the pump off. Ours is 36 ft.
Just a tip, did learn to pour 3 gallons of AF in a bucket so I dont have to switch jugs so often.
