So do they stay in contact with the glass on slow speed or intermittent? Did you remove the springs that put pressure on the arm to keep the blades against the windshield or just try adding 'helper' springs? Every time you lift the arm off the windshield you are working against the spring which could bend the arm a bit. You could try bending the arm a bit to put more pressure on the blade. If your wiper arms are dual armed to keep the blade vertical during the wipe, make sure all the pivots are loose. If the blade chatters, the blade holder might be bent and needs a twist with pliers to make it hold the wiper blade 90º to the glass. Another issue could be the original blades might have had a wing to help keep pressure on at speed. If so, you'll need to reinstall the wings.

Thanks for the reply I tried to bend but just don't want to brake arms, springs are same but wiper blades are new. Added new spring tighteners and still skip on way down or up more at higher speed. Kind of scares me when in hard downpours. John

If you have 30 or 32 inch blades I recommend going down to 28s. Your vision will not be impacted but the blades will have less wind resistance thus less lift and will stay in contact with the windshield. I have done this on my coach b
