We are looking at the 2008 - 33 and 35 Pace Arrow. We are not sure what chassis to go for. We do have the Ford V-10 on our 1999 - 32V Southwind and are happy with it, especally the gas mileage we get. What experiance have people have with the Workhorse? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a 2008 Bounder 35E. Got the Ford. Very happy with it. I cannot find the reason to spend so much more for the Workhorse. I drove both before I ordered one with the Ford.

I'm a Ford guy always have been always will be...but I bought a 2008 Tarra LX..34G on a workhorse chassie and love it...The turning radius is better than the Ford...Has good power..mileage is decent at 8 mpg...I love the 6 speed Allison...I have two complaints one the overdrive switch is on the dash and a bit of a reach...and the rear differential is noisy between 65-70 mph...But the second can and will be fixed...

I have a 2007 Bounder 35E on the Workhorse. I am very happy with it. I bought it last year at the Hershey, PA show. Fleetwood was there and gave me the Workhorse and Alcoa wheels for the same price as the Ford. The Allison Trans was the big factor for my decision. (200,000 mi warranty)

I just got back from a 10,000+ mile,3 month trip in my 2002 34' Bounder with a workhorse chassie. I had a wonerful trip with no breakdowns or trouble what ever.

I loved the Ford V10 until I tried a 32 footer and discovered a huge lack of power. I now have a Workhorse on a smaller Class A and get great mileage and have more than enough power for short on ramps. Mileage runs over 11 mpg when not towing and I lose 1 mpg when towing.

I have a 2008 Bounder 35E w/Ford 30 valve Triton
362 HP 5 Speed HD transmission and it is a powerful and fuel efficient beast.
It is smooth and quiet compared to workhorse and is standard on my unit and weighs 2503 less.
Why? because it is simply, THE BEST!
