Headlight Upgrade

I have an 08 Nimbus that I’m wanting to do a headlight upgrade on. I want to keep the stock headlight orientation. All I want to do is bring the lights themselves up-to-date with the latest LED technology. Has anyone done this? And have any suggestions on which direction I should go with it. I haven’t found a lot of information on the Internet about it.

Welcome to the forum! There's been a lot of discussion on this forum regarding LED bulbs, and upgrading the existing headlight, or changing out to a projector headlight, if available. I'm personally of the mindset to get a good LED bulb that replaces your existing halogen bulb, and properly aiming your headlights. I'd suggest spending a bit of time and watching the videos from these guys.

Take a look at the back of your fixture and see the bulb numbers for your halogen lights. Then I would call Steve at M4 Products or check their website. They have a great selection of quality LED bulbs for all the lighting in your RV. I just purchased new LED headlight bulbs from them and the difference is amazing.

For interior lights, they have choices of 3 different lumen types 2700, 4000 and 6000. That made it very easy to pick the LED bulb that agreed best with my wife. I can’t say enough of how helpful they are in suggesting the right lights for your coach.

Over in the Newmar forum there is a recent thread about bringing headlights up to new car headlight quality with good horizontal cutoff etc.

Not the cheapest or easiest but when you look at the results it is a huge upgrade.
