My coach is the last of the foretravel manufactured chassis. I was given the option of being the first on Spartan or the last on travel ride, I chose to be last. I am realativly new to this whole rv experience with only 5 years of experience. During that five years I drank the koolaid about Spartan only to leave a not so good after taste. I have had two entegra in that period and have dealt with steering issues and air leaks with multiple valve failures on each, no longer can I be impressed by the name. The simple truth is I was looking for was a coach that would steer and ride well from the start and allow me to go to any suspension shop I choose. For me after all the reasearch and the actual test drive I will have travell ride.
It was explained to me that Spartan will be building an exact replication of foretravel chassis, it all has to do with manufacturing laws and liability laws.
