Luxury Class A resorts?
Can anyone make any suggestions on locating the very best premium quality class A luxury RV resorts. Is there a list or club that publishes these better quality RV resorts that cater to the big rig?

Premium resorts can mean different things to different people. We used to use Woodall’s RV guide to find resorts You have to filter the amenities but that’s your choices. That is one of many RVing guides that might fit your needs. An internet search will turn up more.

Hearthside in Petoskey Michigan seems to be the barometer and is loved by many.
I believe Prevost used to make a list of premium parks.
Many of the premium parks sell spots to seasonal and you can rent from them.
Good luck finding your parks. Make sure you share.

Premium resort parks. Will you use their amenities? With no kids we don't use hardly any. We've done it all including having a pool for 22 years. We just want a moderately priced QUIET park.
Years ago in Indio there are 2 premium parks staring at 4500/mo and up. Ya right. We heard they were so stuck up with their Newells and Provost and not having any fun....

Not to drive you away from this site, but there is a Facebook site for Upscale RV Resorts, with searchable options.

Every year Newmar publishes a list of fine resorts by state or region. Many of them are not class A only but all the finest class A only resorts are listed or have been listed over the years. You can download current and previous years are their website.
We’ve tried a ton of them and the only one I disagree with is Solstice Motorcoach Resort in Mesquite NV. Maybe someday they’ll be OK but they’ve went broke and sold so many times I don’t have a lot of faith in them.
An earlier poster commented about the two premium parks in Indio CA (there’s actually 3) and heard that they were full of snobbish people. I’m paraphrasing what he said but I think that’s what he implied.
I disagree with that perception. I’ve found everyone in those parks to be nothing but friendly. They were friendly to me when I rented there and nothing changed when I bought a lot.

I was just going to mention that. They have an app by the same name that lists the resorts the FB members have been to and recommended.

A Google search will bring up several websites that list lots for sale or rent around the country. There are several FB groups that list lots for sale or rent. Some are for individual parks and some list places around the country.
Many class A resorts are ownership parks where you can rent a space from an individual owner or buy a lot. We own lots in both FL and VA that we use as our winter and summer base camps and travel part of the year from each. Each park has a different HOA structure and I imagine that they are all run somewhat differently and have different requirements for coaches allowed in. You have to do a little research to find one that suits your desires. I can tell you that in the last year many lots were sold within days of going on the market just by word of mouth within the park. I'm told that our park in FL is completely booked for the winter.
