This is a ways off, but I had my Onan 5k gen completely rebuilt by "North Florida Welding" in Lake city, Fla. (I-75 and I-10 aprox). Cost was $2500.00. Needed a new circuit board and rotor rebuild. They do rebuilds for Camper World and most Fla Rv dealers too.
Wipers might just be a fuse.

What generator and what work does it need?

Assume you have checked the breaker for the windshield wipers (behind panel in front of passenger's front seat-- should be labeled). Could also be a smart wheel issue, but check the breaker first.

The generator is a power tech. I was told that it was the starter not getting power. Thanks, I will have another look at the wipers.
